On verra que la réponse peut être positive, mais à condition de bien préciser les termes et l’usage qu’on en fait. Une « théologie de la vie de Jésus » ? Oui. Mais comme il y a ou peut y avoir des perspectives théologiques à proposer de toutes les réalités du monde, et tout particulièrement en ce qu’elles sont en lien à du social et à de l’idéologique. Or, la vie de Jésus est bien une réalité du monde, parmi d’autres, et elle est bien – oh combien ! – liée à des jeux sociaux et idéologiques. Une « théologie de la vie de Jésus » ? Oui, mais comme théologie justement, et théologie articulée au réel, ici humain.

As we shall see, the answer might be positive, on the condition that we clearly define our terms and the way we shall use them. A “theology of the life of Jesus”? Yes, but as there are or can be theological perspectives proposed about all the realities of the world and most especially to the extent that they are linked with the social and the ideological dimensions. The life of Jesus is indeed a reality of the world, among others, and it is most certainly linked to social and ideological strategies. A “theology of the life of Jesus”? Yes, but precisely as theology, and specifically as a theology articulated on the real, here, on human reality.
