The philosophical fecundity of the transcendental ‘foundation’ in Rahner’s theology.

How to fruitfully and innovatively read his great texts today

The philosophical act as it is highlighted by the way Rahner addresses theology: this is the subject we shall explore here. The stakes involved are highly topical, since this question examines the way the theological discourse is present within the ensemble of discourses on  humankind and its visions of the world. Recent and still pertinent debates will be examined, as will the tendencies emerging in the early 20th century over the immanence method, or the destiny of the transcendental in contemporary philosophy.
